Exciting News! We now have two options, the Traditional 4-day ride: April 21-24, 2011 or the Premier 5-day option April 20-24, 2011.
Your riding experience will be a memorable one. Our trails consist of everything from jeep roads to cow trails, creek bottoms, steep climbs, mud, rocks and water filled creeks. Along the way you will delight in our cows and calves, beautiful landscapes, wildflowers and wildlife. Yes, there are wild animals out there…deer, pigs, bobcats, the occasional bear or mountain lion…if we don’t bother them, they won’t bother us. We, along with some of our wranglerette friends will be riding with you to ensure you are comfortable and safe.
Weather can be unpredictable so please be prepared for cool mornings and evenings, sunny, but cool days (temperatures range from 40 to 80 degrees) and possibly a shower or even a thunderstorm. Mother Nature may decide to rain on us, but it's your decision whether to don your slicker or stay in camp.

Buckarette Etiquette
BUCKARETTE DO’S
One horse per rider
All horses should be shod
Bring food and a water bucket for your horse
Bring accommodations for your horse (trailer, panels, picket line) OR
Bring your own cot, bedroll, pillow and towel
Suggested items: flashlight, binoculars, camera, raingear, cold weather clothing, bug spray
A more comprehensive list will be sent to all guests prior to the ride

No dogs, stud horses, mares with colts
No guns
DIRECTIONS
Elk Creek is located west of Willows, California.
A directional map will be sent to registered guests prior to the Ranch Ride.

We will have a veterinarian and farrier on call and there is a medical center/emergency room in Willows.

• Automatic Payment Plan: 1) minimum $150 non-refundable deposit; 2) monthly automatic charges will be made to your credit card; 3) total paid by April 1st, 2011.• Monthly Invoice Payment Plan: 1) minimum $150 non-refundable deposit; 2) monthly invoices will be sent; 3) balance paid by 3/15/2011.

**Reservations are honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Rides are limited to 50 guests. If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation, all payments are refundable if we can fill your spot from a waiting list. In the event that your spot is not filled from a waiting list, all payments, with the exception of the initial $150, will be refunded. The initial $150 will be held in your name for one year as a payment towards the following year’s Ride. If not used by you on the following year’s Ride, the payment is forfeited. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
